This notice explains how personal data relating to visitors of emrearslan.av.tr is processed under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

The contact form does not request a Turkish identity number, home address or financial information. Do not send sensitive or unnecessary personal data before a secure communication route is agreed.

Transfers outside Türkiye
If you consent to analytics, measurement data may be processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. This constitutes an overseas transfer under Article 9 of KVKK and relies on your explicit consent. No analytics transfer takes place when consent is refused. Fonts may also be loaded from Google Fonts, during which your IP address is technically communicated to Google. Contact-form submissions are sent directly to the office email account.
Retention
- Contact requests: for a reasonable period after the request ends; if a lawyer–client relationship is formed, the retention duties under the Attorneyship Law and related rules apply.
- Analytics: for the retention period configured in Google Analytics, currently stated as 14 months.
- Server logs: for the period required by applicable law and security needs.
Your rights under Article 11
You may ask whether your data is processed; request information; learn the purpose and whether the data is used accordingly; learn recipients in or outside Türkiye; request correction, deletion or destruction where the statutory conditions apply; request notification of those steps to recipients; object to a result produced exclusively by automated analysis; and request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How to apply
Send a request that meets the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller in writing, by registered electronic mail, secure electronic signature or from an email address already recorded in the relevant system to info@emrearslan.av.tr. Applications are answered free of charge as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, subject to any fee permitted by the Board's tariff where the process creates an additional cost (KVKK Art. 13).
If an application is rejected, the answer is inadequate or no timely answer is given, a complaint may be submitted to the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the answer and in any event within 60 days of the application (KVKK Art. 14).
Security and changes
The site uses HTTPS. Analytics IP masking is enabled and advertising personalisation/signals are stated as disabled. This notice may be updated when the law or the site's processing changes; the current version is published here.
